The Role of Atherectomy in the Treatment of Peripheral Artery Disease
Matthias Limbrock, Ulrich Sunderdiek, Patrick Haage, Christoph Alexander Stückle
Atherectomy is gaining importance as an adjunctive technique in the endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease. This review summarizes current evidence on efficacy, safety, and clinical value and provides a concise basis for radiological decision-making in clinical practice.
Pulmonary Sarcoidosis: Imaging and Diagnostic Limitations
Joana Kostova, Gustav Andreisek, Mathias A. Müller
The heterogeneity of pulmonary sarcoidosis complicates both clinical and imaging-based differentiation. This review presents the typical radiological findings and diagnostic options for this complex disease. The importance of accurate diagnostics is emphasized, as distinguishing between reversible inflammatory and irreversible fibrotic lesions is crucial for therapeutic decision-making and prognosis.
